Stories from the Band

Other Stories

Chronic hepatitis C can affect anyone. You've heard stories from famous musicians Gregg Allman, Natalie Cole and Jon Secada -- now it's time to hear from others.

Remember: You don't have to be famous to have chronic hepatitis C and you don't have to be famous to use your voice.

Anne, 56

Anne's husband Benny loved to play bass and run his own business. He also loved to help others living with chronic hepatitis C. That was his passion until he passed away from complications from chronic hepatitis C in 2009. This is their story.

Gina, 55

Gina is a wife, a sister and an aunt. She is also a chronic hepatitis C patient and advocate. While Gina is living with the disease, she refuses to let it define her or to keep her silent. This is her story.

Behind the Scenes

Want to spend the day with Gregg Allman? Visit "The Big House," where the Allman Brothers Band lived together during one of their most creative periods in the early 1970s. After extensive renovation, it's now become The Allman Brothers Band Museum. Click here to watch exclusive "behind the scenes" footage of a public service announcement Gregg filmed recently at the museum.
